Hero Highlight
Savaer is a great jungle hero do to his great mobility, and the ability to attack jungle creatures with his skill power strike which does damage to all neutral creatures within the area of effect. His ultimate heals a percentage of his hp when used on a marked target, perfect for a bruiser type build. His base stats are also very good, high physical defense and magical defense, in addition to his good movement speed. His slows, gap closer, and high movement speed means you won’t be getting away from him easily!

Savaer leaps forward, damaging nearby enemies for 100/150/200/250 + [40% Physical Attack] damage and slowing their movement speed by 40% for 3 seconds. Enemies marked One Hit One Kill will receive an additional 40/70/100/130 damage that ignores all Physical Defense of the targets affected. This bonus damage effects the target separately from the skill damage.
Savaer will instantly reposition to a viable position if he lands on an impassable, contiguous portion of terrain, such as a wall, when leaping over obstacles.

Savaer slices his enemy to cause severe bleeding damage, dealing 50/60/70/80 + [30% Physical Attack] damage per second for 4 seconds. Enemies marked by One Hit One Kill will receive an additional 40/70/100/130 [+30% Physical Attack] damage upon being damaged by this skill. The damage only occurs once and damages the target separately from the initial hit.
Cross Slash's bonus damage from Savaer's marks will not ignore the target's Physical Defense.

Passive: Savaer's normal attacks, skills, and item effects gain a 10/15/20/25% chance to mark the enemy. The mark lasts for 10 seconds and the duration can be refreshed by applying another mark. A marked target will suffer a 10/15/20/25% reduction in Movement and Attack Speed.
Active: Savaer selects a target and marks it directly.
Scorpion Sting
Cost: 100/125/150 MP

Savaer identifies his target's weak point and strikes with lethal precision, sending out a scorpion that burrows and charges to the target, dealing 200/300/400 + [60% Physical Attack] damage to it. If the target has been marked by the assassin, Savaer recovers 30% of his maximum HP.
Scorpion Sting will not provide its Harvest bonus when the heal is applied, though the Harvest will apply if the heal does not occur. The trajectory of Scorpion Sting can be interrupted by any other unit caught within its journey, the secondary target taking the damage in place of the initially targeted unit.
Recommended Skills Levelling
This represents one of the common skill levelling sequence. Savaer can choose to maximize Cross Slash or One Hit One Kill once his Power Strike is maxed out. His 2nd skill gives him more damage when played as an assassin looking for pick off kills. His 3rd skill works best when acting as a tank-CC for a team.

This represents another very common skill levelling sequence. Here we max cross slash first, this is my preferred method of skill leveling. After DLC 18.5 his scaling for cross slash was changed from 30% physical attack per second to 60% physical attack per second (For 4 seconds). In other words, 240% physical attack damage from cross slash alone!

Tips & Strategies
- Savaer is fit to levelling up in the jungle due to Power Strike being such a good initiation.
- Power Strike can be dragged over walls and Savaer will jump over them – this is good for escaping and initiating.
- Savaer can in fact, be played as a tank due to his CC and ultimate healing a % of his health.
- Power Strike, when the GTAoE (Ground Targeted Area of Effect) is placed inside of a wall, will make Savaer leap to the closest side he is to. So, technically, he can jump a total of 27.9m which is very nearly double the range of his Power Strike.
- One special trick with Savaer is related to how his One Hit One Kill skill works. It says in the description that “normal attacks” have a chance to mark the target. But actually, it is ANY type of damage dealt by Savaer that has this chance. So, items like TheRipper and Hermetist Cloak are actually very good items for him, giving him more chance of CC in teamfights.
- The bonus damage on Cross Slash and Power Strike when target is marked by One Hit One Kill is pure damage, not reduced by enemy armor. This makes Savaer benefit even more from a tank/bruiser style build.
- His Scorpion Sting Ultimate will be blocked by anything in its path including: creeps, towers, neutrals, and other heroes. So if you don’t want to miss your Ulti, just make sure that there’s nothing between you and the target, and the best way to do this is to get close to the target, really close. Also Scorpion will stop following if the target goes into shadow areas. It will still follow if the enemy goes invisible though
- His usual combo is 1-3-2-4. But if you have TheRipper or Hermetist clock on, you will directly mark the target so you can skip 3 and use one normal attack instead.
